US 66 Hongdae pub bar

This Western style bar has been a popular hangout of English teachers for many years. It used to be a fun foreign-friendly place to hang out a few years back but apparently things have degenerated. It's now a full blown "meet market" and quite a good place to get incredibly trashed and make a fool of yourself. Apparently the bartenders are pretty and can make a mean cocktail. You can also get all kinds of beers here.The layout of the place is also not bad for socializing. There are two floors and the upper mezzazine level is open so you can see below. There's a big central bar where people can easily move around and congregate.
One girl that went there did not particularly like the experience she had there. She described the place as "sketchy".She also said it's a good place to go if " you want to get sloshed on, dribbled over and ogled by guys with over-inflated egos just because they've been in Korea for too long- and they can't even find anything better to do than teach English!" Having said that, this atmosphere might be enjoyed by many people. At least it's lively!
US 66 is super well known in Hongdae since it's on a main street. People often refer to it as a landmark.
