DEL'S DISCO

This swish gay disco has a good-looking crowd and is frequented by the champange-drinking fashion set. There are two distinct areas. The VIP lounge area has red velvet banquettes, wood floors and dreamy curtains lining the walls. This area is separated by a glass wall. At the dance-floor area, the walls are painted black and there are raised stages with poles where professional go-go boys in clad in tight bike shorts strut theur stuff. Anyone can also dance up there if they want to draw attention to themselves. Del's plays excellent bootie shaking music which is usually a mix of dance, electronica and gay classics. The place usually doesn't get packed until after 2am. The crowd is 80 percent Korean with a handful of foreigners. Sometimes straight people and women come here too just for shiggles but expect to pay admission at the door unless you know the owner. Del's Disco is located in the basement of the Hamilton hotel right in the middle of the main street of Itaewon.
