ROCKY MOUNTAIN TAVERN

Rocky Mountain Tavern is a comfortable down-to-earth place which was started by a couple of Canadian expats. The bar is spacious, woody and is quite attractive despite the simple decor. There are two floors. The upstairs has a stage, a dance floor, and seating which runs along big windows which overlook the street. From time to time they have live music which draws a fair crowd, otherwise it’s the kind of place where people can come dressed down in jeans, a t-shirt and baseball hat and kick back a few brewskis while talking hockey. The crowd consists mostly of Canadians working in education and there’s a big male demographic. It’s similar to The Seoul Pub, but much bigger and nicer.
