STEREO BAR

Stereo Bar is a chillout lounge in Hongdae that is so colorful, it looks like candy. There are bright couches and chairs arranged comfortably throughout the rectangular room. The atmosphere is accented by candlelight. The bar and DJ booth is at the entrance and on the other end is a stage. The walls are decorated with interesting artwork and there’s a long poem or story written on the bathroom wall. Generally they play lounge-y funky music. This little basement dive seems like it would be a pretty mellow place if you go there on a random night. However it’s a brilliant place to go when there’s an event on like a poetry reading or a live music jam.
From exit 5 of Hongdae station, make a right and a left onto the big brick road that has all the shops and restaurants. Follow this main down a few meters and make a right onto the first main street that you see. Follow this street and Stereo will be in a basement on the right hand side. It's across the street from a bar called Feminism.
