TURN
It has been one year since Turn opened their door for Salsa enthusiasts. They have created a particular vibe unlike any other Salsa establishment in Seoul. The walls are lined with colorful 3-D paintings and vibrant lights that reflect the style of the dancers, as well as the incredible floor!
This club has had amazing success! People who come here have engaged themselves in the feeling salsa creates, while experimenting with its flavor. As you look through the swirling crowd, you might find a beginning couple toe taping uneasily right along side a couple incorporating break dancing into their spins.
If you’re passing through Korea in the middle of the week, or looking for a break from work, Wednesday nights are very popular. Over 200 people come and listen to DJ Ricki spin. Yet, Saturday boasts the largest Salsa crowd in Seoul. DJ Luna plays for over 400 swinging, sweating Salseros and Salseras.
From a bus, get off at Kangnam Station and look for the Black Angus across the street. Go down that alley and take the first right. Walk about one block and take the first left. The Turn sign is in black and white. From the subway, take exit 2 until you get to Black Angus and follow directions for the bus.
