WOO BAR @ W HOTEL

The W hotel is the most stylish venue for a party in Seoul hands down. The Woo Bar, which is located in the lobby of the hotel, is a vast futuristic-looking venue with egg shaped chairs, blue background lighting and a silver orb DJ booth that looks like it just landed from outer space. Many stylish parties have been thrown here and it's a good place to people watch and to go on a 'celeb safari'. Daniel Henney, Dennis O, Jung Woo Sung and many others have all been spotted here. When they have special guest DJs, often they bring in extensive laser light displays and the place can get really packed. Some people have complained that parties here are static and boring with everyone posing around, but it's really up to the person to make their own fun isn't it? Alot of Korean Americans come here as well.
One big drawback is the high price of drinks. Sometimes it can be impossible to even get a bartender's attention! Also this venue is so big, it sometimes feels empty, but that is sometimes when it can be the most fun. Woo Bar isn't always happening. It better to go when there's a party on, or during the weekends.
