KOO AN

Transalted from Korean, Koo An means
“in there”. Though it’s a strange name for an Italian restaurant, “in there” you will find decent Italian food in a sleek modern setting. This restaurant has been around for more than 5 years, but it was recently renovated and now boasts an intergrated wine cave, stone walls, a long wood-lined bar and sleek ambient lighting. Low windows line the main dining area letting in natural light and there’s a private room with glass walls for a large group of people. The atmosphere of this restaurant seems more befitting to Japanese cuisine, but judging by the amount of foreigners frequenting the place, the food is decent enough for Italian food lovers. Koo An is at the Dongguk University intersection just past the Shilla hotel. (190-10 Welcom City Building) 02-6325-6321 or 02-2263 1609
