PORK BB-Q

This basic bb-q joint has some of the best barebequed pork ribs in Itaewon. The décor of this place is typical of a cheerful Korean Barbeque joint. The place is brightly lit and has simple black plastic chairs and tables. The tables have long silver ventilators which hang down over the bbq pit to suck the smoke from the steaming meat. The juicy pork ribs are slightly marinated and come with a variety of side dishes such as corn salad and sesame-oiled mushrooms. You can also order sliced pork and side soups like twen jang chigaee. There is a big main dining area and a more private ondol floor seating area which has sliding doors than can be closed. The service is quick and courteous. This restaurant is located past the Cheil Building towards the Hanjanjin train station. It is located in a down-sloping alley just after the German restaurant. There is a red sign which is in Korean.
