GECKO'S GARDEN Gecko’s Garden is an oasis that makes you feel like you’re not in Seoul. While Seoul (especially Itaewon) sometimes seems like a dirty polluted urban jungle, Gecko’s Garden makes you feel like you’re in a relaxing house somewhere in the European countryside. There are a lot of trees, and silver bistro tables underneath shady umbrellas. Gecko’s is a great place to loiter over a cold beer, an iced latte, a glass of white wine, or a refreshing strawberry daiquiri. Gecko’s is good for lunch or dinner. The food here is vaguely European. There are pasta and risotto dishes as well as a really good balsamic chicken. On weekends, Gecko’s really comes alive. The place can get very crowded as there is a delicious open BB-Q pit where they grill you choice of meat or veggies. Gecko’s is a fantastic place to catch up with big groups of friends, or have a heart to heart coffee session with your girlfriends.
