 THAI ORCHID
In Thailand, one can get spoiled by the great food you can find
almost anywhere (including on the street). In Seoul however,
one doesn't have much choice. Thai Orchid restaurant is one of the best choices for Thai food at decent prices. The restaurant is quite large and they did try to decorate it Thai style, however with the flourescent lighting it looks a bit like an office space.
Good thing the food is awesome.
They have a lot of staples like green chicken curry, pad thai,
satays etc. The Tom Kha Gai and the pinapple rice are excellent. In fact, I don't recall ever having tasted anything bad here, although
I have had some very spicy things. Ask them to tone down the
spiciness if you don`t want your mouth to be on fire. Thai Orchid
is on the 3/F main drag of Itaewon, not far from the Itaewon
