YOU JIN MAK KOOK SOO

This place is right across the street from the Capital hotel. It is one of my favorite local restaurants. The thing to eat here is the Mak Kook Soo. Its buckwheat noodles (like Japanese soba noodles) with spices (onions, garlic, and chili) in a hearty room temperature beef broth with a piece of pork, half an egg, radishes, sesame seeds and cucumbers. Sounds like a strange combo? Well, in a word, it`s Delicious! just try it. They also have awesome Pin Dae Dock which is fried mug bean pancakes that you dip in some kind of soy sauce. The place is also well known for its pork dishes and you can get Korean food staples like Ten Jung Chigaee here. The place is always packed and the atmosphere is slightly rustic and not as miserable as some of the other local restaurants. $
