In Korea, if a restaurant has a short menu, you know it's good. Hakata Boonko, a tiny Japanese noodle joint a short walk from Sangsu Station, has 3 items (not counting white rice).
Be prepared to wait; there is almost always a long line.
Chong ramyeon (청라면)- Fukuoka-style noodles with strong flavored broth.
In ramyeon (인라면)- similar to the above, both with a little more bland broth.
Cha-shyu dopbab (챠슈덥밥) - pork and the ramyeon ingredients served over rice
All dishes are 7000won. All dishes are absolutely delicious.
Hakata Boonko - 하카타 분코
Take exit 2 at Sangsu Station (line 6). Turn around and follow the road towards Hongik University. Pass Holly's Coffee and a few other shops. At the first sizeable alley, turn left.
